TORONTO] 4Reasonz is proud to be hosting their 3rd Annual “Phoenix Classic” Men’s Anti-Gun Violence Basketball Tournament at Ryerson University’s Kerr Hall. On July 25, 26 & 27, basketball enthusiasts, coaches, players and spectators from all over the G.T.A. will unite to take a stand against violence in communities across the city.
The #PHXClassic team is working hard to expand and make this year’s tournament even bigger and better than the previous years so spread the word! In addition to the men’s division taking place in the main gym, this year there will be two additional divisions, 15U & 13U, which will take place in the Lower Gym of Ryerson University Kerr Hall gym.
This year, the #PHXClassic Men’s division will host 16 teams, featuring many of Toronto’s finest including: The Union, Ryerson University, Queen’s University, P.U.S.H., Flemo Falcons, Team Pindab, ReasonzInc & many more. Of course, defending champs “East End Dun Runz” will be making a huge return this year in hopes of establishing a consecutive victory. The #EastEnd squad from Scarborough consists of MVP Marvell Waite, Ashton Smith, Juevol Myles, Tyrone Bramble, Papa Opong, Justin Dennis and Chris East.

No team? No Problem! Come out and showcase your skills by participating in the #PHXClassic “Individual Player Draft” which will be taking place July 15th 6pm-8pm at Ryerson U’s Kerr Hall (Upper Gym). Individual players must arrive prepared with their registration fee ($50) on this day.
