CANADA BASKETBALL SWNT BRINGS 14 PLAYERS TO EDMONTON FOR FINAL TRAINING PHASE

Team Canada prepares for the 2014 FIBA World Championship for Women

EDMONTON, AB – Canada Basketball  has announced  the roster of 14 athletes who are currently training at the team’s training facility in Edmonton in preparation for the 2014 FIBA World Championship for Women that will be held in Turkey from September 27th  to October  5th.

The FIBA World Championship for Women is set to take place September 27th – October 5th in Turkey.

Both Head Coach Lisa Thomaidis, Denise Dignard, Director, Women’s High Performance and players will be available throughout the week for interviews. The team’s morning practices, held at the Saville Community Centre in Edmonton are also open to media.
