Basketball Skills Instructor Training Program (BSI) is a comprehensive training system that fills one of the largest gaps in basketball coaching education. Youth coaches often replace teaching the much needed individual technical skills with tactical skills due to an over-emphasis on winning the next game. Without sound technical skills, players will struggle when a system breaks down or when there isn’t a system in place; similar to what happens in a tryout setting.
BSI walks coaches through a modular program that breaks skills down into finite details so they can be easily transferred to players of all ages. With targeted practice, players can learn the intricate parts and purpose of any technical skill which creates a dynamic player who can flourish in any basketball environment. Coaches may attain formal certification but it may not translate into creating skilled players.
BSI was created to meet you where you are in your coaching development and propel you to another level!
