In one of the greatest performances by a Canadian ever in the NCAA, Scarborough, Ontario’s Freshman Florida State guard Xavier Rathan Mayes scored a career-high 35pts in a tough 78-74 loss to the University of Carolina. The 6’3″ guard, formerly of Huntington Prep and AAU program CIA Bounce was sizzling in this contest, hitting on jumpers, coast to coast layups and threes with a hand in his face! He went 14-26 from the field, including 5-11 from 3-point land as he almost single-handedly led his team to an upset win over #15 UNC! The point total was apparently the 5th highest by an A.C.C. freshman in conference history. He’s definitely a #CanadianGem and is an On Point Performer!

Check out the amazing highlights below that reminded me of Klay Thompson’s incredible performance for the Golden St. Warriors on Friday night.

Call “X” the Canadian Klay Thompson! Enjoy
