The journey continues for Andrew Wiggins as he returns for another Nike Hoop Summit.
“Hoop Summit Hoopla” delves into the backgrounds of the top U.S. and World players. The rivalry intensifies as the Americans look to bounce back from last year’s defeat at the hands of the world’s best player Andrew Wiggins. The Canadian superstar looks to repeat his dominating performance from last year’s Nike Hoop Summit as he takes on a stronger, more focused US squad. A star studded cast of characters is highlighted by Andrew Wiggins, Aaron Gordon, Julius Randle, Dennis Schroeder, Karl Towns, Dante Exum, Sergey Karesev, Joel Embiid, and Livio Jean-Charles. Head Coach Roy Rana is also featured as he returns for his third Nike Hoop Summit squaring off against Head Coach Mike Jones.

Here’s a recent blurb from the Kansas Jayhawks website upon signing Andrew Wiggins:
LAWRENCE, Kan. – Andrew Wiggins, a McDonald’s All-American and the top-ranked recruit in the country, has signed a national letter of intent to play for the Jayhawks, Kansas men’s basketball coach Bill Self announced Tuesday. Wiggins will be a freshman for the 2013-14 season at KU.

Ranked the No. 1 recruit in the class of 2013 by every recruiting service, Wiggins, a 6-7 forward from Thornhill, Ontario, Canada, announced his signing at Huntington (W. Va.) Prep. He chose KU over Kentucky, Florida State and North Carolina. Wiggins averaged 23.4 points, 11.2 rebounds, 2.6 blocks and 2.5 assists last season for Huntington Prep leading his team to a 30-3 record.
