Team On Point was On Location in Markham, Ontario Canada on the weekend of March 4th-6th for the 2nd annual Bill Crothers Invitational showcase event which featured the hosts as well as Athlete Institute, Orangeville Prep, Thetford Academy(QC), Thornlea(Thornhill), BTB Academy(Toronto), Ahuntsic(QC) and Wasatch Academy(Utah).
One of the main attractions was the Dunk Competition on Saturday evening. The contest was judged by Canadian Basketball legend Phil Dixon, Matt Cooke(Seven Keyz) of Broken Silence Records and Drew Ebanks CEO & Founder of On Point Basketball.
It featured participants such as Daquan Berry(Bill Crothers), Jayden Coke(Bill Crothers), Tidjane Kieta(Thetford Academy), Dakelle Brooks(BTB Academy), Jace Colley(BTB Academy) & Jordan Lyons(Orangeville Prep).
It was a great battle right to the end where Bill Crothers’ guard Berry took the title over a very spry and game Tidjane Kieta of Thetford Academy.
The event was a great success. Team On Point looks forward to next year.
